SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS COUNCIL
The Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians (GSCSA) serves 46 counties from Southwest Virginia, through East Tennessee, and into North Georgia. Service centers are located in Johnson City, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. Each service center has a Girl Scout shop, and the Knoxville Service Center is home to the Girl Scout Museum at Daisy’s Place. We exist to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts is a safe place for all girls in grades K-12 to explore their values and their world, develop an understanding of and empathy with others, and take action to improve their communities. Girls are guided by committed, caring adults who make Girl Scouting fun. Girl Scouts has been the nation’s expert on leadership development for girls for over 100 years.
